No. Our outdoor lighting systems are fully functional without an Alexa device. Lights automatically turn on at dusk and off at dawn, and holiday scenes are pre-programmed to run on their designated dates—no Alexa needed.
Indoor lighting systems can also operate with basic time-based automation, tailored to your daily routine. Again, an Alexa device is not required for this level of functionality.
If you wish to modify any standard outdoor scenes, our technicians can make changes remotely, or you can take our training course to master the Command Center App. The app runs on all platforms—phones, tablets, and PCs—connected to your home Wi-Fi and is accessible only while you are at home.
